Everything you need to know before finding your dress at Embody.

  • Yes! Embody Bridal is appointment only so your stylist can focus completely on you. You’ll have your own fitting room and viewing area, plenty of time to explore the collection, and a stylist there to guide you through the whole process.

  • We recommend starting about 10-14 months before your wedding. That gives us plenty of time to order your gown, have it made and shipped, and leave room for alterations before the big day.

    On a shorter timeline? Don’t panic. Many of our designers offer rush options, and we also have gowns available to purchase right off the rack. We’ll help you figure out what works for your timeline.

  • Once we receive your request, you’ll get a confirmation from us with all the details for your appointment. Then the fun part starts! If you have inspiration photos, save them, but you absolutely don’t need to know exactly what you want before you walk through the door. That’s what we’re here for.

  • Honestly? Just yourself. You don’t need special shapewear, shoes, or a perfectly curated Pinterest board to shop for a wedding dress.

    If you already have shoes, undergarments, or accessories you’d like to try with your dress, feel free to bring them - but they’re definitely not required.

  • Our viewing areas comfortable accommodate the bride plus up to six guests. We love a good hype crew, but when it comes to dress shopping, more options aren’t always better - bring the people whose opinions you genuinely want in the room.

    To keep the experience comfortable and focused, we ask that you please leave little ones at home.

    If you’re hoping to bring more than 6 guests, reach out before booking and we’ll let you know what we can accommodate.

  • Our standard bridal appointments are 90. minutes - plenty of time to explore the racks, try on your favorites, and work with your stylist to narrow in on what feels like you.

  • We require a credit card on file to reserve your appointment, but there is no charge for a standard bridal appointment.

    We know life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, just give us at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a $50 fee.

  • Our sample gowns range from bridal sizes 6-28 with options across that range so more brides can actually try on dresses that fit their bodies - not just imagine what a gown might look like in their size.

  • Our wedding dresses range from $1,500-$4,500, with a variety of options throughout that range. Your stylist will always keep your budget in mind while helping you shop - because falling in love with a dress way outside of it isn’t fun for anyone.

  • Our collection includes Calla Blanche and it’s lines L’Amour, La Perle, and Blanc, Casablanca Bridal, Studio Levana, and Paloma Blanca.

    We choose our designers intentionally, with a focus on beautiful construction, incredible details, variety, and gowns that feel a little different from what you’ll see everywhere else.

  • Yes! We keep a selection of sample gowns available to purchase right off the rack, which means you can fall in love with a dress and take that exact gown home with you. Off-the-rack gowns can be especially helpful for shorter timelines - and they’re usually a really good deal!

  • Come see us anyway! A shorter timeline doesn’t mean you’re out of options. Depending on your wedding date, we may be able to order a gown with a rush option, or we can show you dresses available to purchase right off the rack and take home with you.

  • We specialize exclusively in wedding dresses, so we don’t carry bridesmaid, mother-of-the-bride/groom, or prom dresses.

THE DRESSES

AFTER YOU SAY YES

  • Most made-to-order dresses take several months to arrive, with timing varying by designer and dress. Your stylist will go over the expected timeline for your specific gown before you order, so you’ll know what to expect from the start.

  • Best email ever. We’ll let you know as soon as your dress arrives and have you schedule a pick-up appointment. When you come in, you’ll get to try her on (!!!), make sure everything looks as expected, and then take your dress home with you.

    Because we have limited storage space, we ask that gowns be picked up within 30 days from your email.

  • We don’t offer alterations in-house, but we’re happy to provide recommendations for experienced bridal seamstresses in the area. Alterations are separate from the cost of your gown and are scheduled directly with your seamstress.

  • Bridal sizing can be a little weird - and the number on the tag will likely be different from the size you normally wear. When it’s time to order your dress, we’ll take your measurements and compare them with your designer’s size chart to determine the best size to order.

    The number truly doesn’t matter. The goal is simply to order the size that gives your seamstress what they need to create the best fit for you.
