MEET EMBODY
Good dresses matter. The people helping you find yours do, too.
WE’RE THE BRIDAL PEOPLE.
But, like, normal ones.
Embody Bridal started with two things I cared so much about: wedding dresses and making people feel good in their bodies.
I’ve loved wedding dresses for basically forever. I bought bridal magazines in college just because I wanted them, and even wrote my final business plan around opening a bridal store. But after college, I went into marketing and, for a while, the bridal store stayed firmly in the “maybe someday” category.
Years later, while navigating my own relationship with body image and recovering from an eating disorder, I started learning more about the experiences of women in larger bodies - how often they were excluded from fashion, how difficult it could be to find clothing that was both beautiful land available in their size.
It changed the way I thought about fashion, inclusivity, and what it actually means to make someone feel welcome.
Around the same time, I was ready for a career change and considering going back to school. During a therapy session, I admitted that if I could do anything, I’d open a bridal store. My therapist basically said, “So… why don’t you?”
Apparently that was all the permission I needed.
As I started the business plan, I discovered designers creating incredible wedding dresses for plus-size bodies - and suddenly the two things clicked. I could build the bridal store I’ve always dreamed about and create the kind of shopping experience I believed should exist.
And Embody Bridal was born: a boutique built around the idea that beautiful dresses, thoughtful styling, and an incredible bridal experience should never be reserved for one type of body.
You deserve to walk in, feel like you belong here, and have a damn good time finding your wedding dress.
MEET THE TEAM
Plot twist: we all found our dresses here, too.
ERYNN
Owner + Bridal Stylist + Embody Bride
Erynn tends to take on a bit of a sister role during appointments (she is the oldest of four, after all). She wants you to feel comfortable, safe, and completely yourself - but she’s also going to be honest with you when she can tell you don’t actually love something.
People are genuinely her favorite part of this job. Getting to know our brides, making real connections, and getting to be a part of such a big moment in their lives brings her more joy than she ever expected when she opened Embody.
And when it comes to dresses? Give her something different. She loves the gowns you haven’t seen a hundred times before—the unexpected details, the little bit weird, the dress that feels uniquely you.
CAITLYN
Bridal Stylist + Embody Bride
Caitlyn is your bridal bestie and #1 advocate. She’s fully in your corner from the minute your appointment starts - ready to hype you up, listen to what you actually want, and make sure your voice doesn’t get lost in all the opinions that can come with wedding dress shopping.
Her favorite part of the job is getting to genuinely connect with brides and then being there for the moment when everything clicks and they realize they’ve found their dress. Getting to celebrate right alongside you is pretty much the best part.
As for the dresses currently winning her over? She’s been loving a good A-line, and the details get her every time - especially eyelash lace or a scalloped hem. Romantic, a little unexpected, and extra pretty up close.
BRENNA
Bridal Studio Manager + Occasional Bridal Stylist + Embody Bride
Brenna is our Studio Manager and the person quietly keeping approximately a million things running behind the scenes at Embody. From processing new dresses to making sure your gown is ready when it’s finally time to take her home, she’s a huge part of what keeps the Embody world turning.
When she is in an appointment, Brenna brings the same calm energy with a healthy dose of hype. She’s also the person who will walk across the room in the middle of doing something completely unrelated just to tell a bride how incredible she looks. Her favorite part of the job is watching someone see themselves as beautiful - especially when they weren’t expecting to.
And when it comes to dresses? Soft, feminine, and just a little bit extra. Give her a romantic gown with one unexpected detail that makes it feel completely different, and she’s sold.
